Design and Display
Infinix Hot 40i features a plastic body available in Starlit Black, Palm Blue, Horizon Gold, and Starfall Green with a glass front. It weighs 190 g and measures 163.6 x 75.6 x 8.3 mm in dimension.
The punch hole camera in the front anchors the new Magic Ring interface similar to the Dynamic Island feature that we saw in the latest iPhones like the iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max offering a new way to interact with your smartphone.
The Magic Ring interface expands the punch hole camera on the display to a notification bar providing fast and easy access to information like charging progress or caller information.
On the back of the Infinix phone, there are a two separate camera lens with quad LED flash. On the right side, you get the volume buttons and a power button which doubles as a fingerprint sensor while there is a SIM port on the left side and the USB Type-C port, speaker grille, and a 3.5mm headphone jack is on the bottom.
Infinix Hot 40i features a 6.56-inches IPS LCD punch-hole display with a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels. The device also delivers 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of around 480 nits.
Camera
The Infinix Hot 40i is getting an improved camera compared to its predecessor, the Infinix Hot 30i. It still retains the dual camera setup, but the main sensor has been upgraded from 13 megapixels to 50 megapixels. This is supported by a 0.08MP lens.
You should be able to get a decent enough photos from this smartphone. The selfie camera offers a major upgrade from 8 megapixels to 32 megapixels ensuring very clear and sharp selfies and video calls.
